Fletcher G. Palmer 1934 Itinerary June 27 Remi. SW Pine Grove, 7250 ft. Mineral Co., Nevada. Left Berkeley Calif. at 9 A.M. June 26, 1934 in three automobiles with party of seven persons as follows: J. Stanley Brode, Elton R. Edge, Dawson A. Feathers, E. Raymond Hall, David H. Johnson, Fletcher G. Palmer, and Ward C. Russell. Drove via Carquinez Bridge, Sacramento, Placerville, south end of Lake Tahoe, Glenbrook, Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville to a point in the hills about 15 mis S of Gardnerville where we slept beside the road. Left our overnight camp at 6 A.M. and drove via Wellington eastward along the West Walker River into Mason Valley. Thence southward to point 4½ mi. NE of Pine Grove, turned right and drove up a Canyon past Pine Grove to camp site as given at head of page; arrived here about 11:30 A.M. At 4:00 P.M. [illegible] at 40 government sized mouse traps and two rat traps in a line beginning 50 yds. north
