Palmer 1934. Neotoma fuscipes Foot of Hog Back, 3250 ft., San Antonio CaƱon, Los Angeles Co., Calif. Jan. 9. Caught 1 in rat traps set in a shed adjoining a cabin. The rat had been storing fruits of the California Bay tree and had completely filled a large dish-pan and had filled 2 large pitchers nearly full. The Calif. Bay and White Alder are the only trees in the streamside association where the cabin was situated.
