Palmer 1934 Itinerary 2 mi. S.E. Norco, approx. 700 ft., Riverside Co., Calif. Dec. 26 Contd. Rock Outcrops Trap Line The weather was clear until 11:30 P.M. when it started to cloud up and by morning was drizzling slightly. Dec. 27 In 90 grv.-size mouse traps, caught 3 Peromyscus crinitus (overemicus?). All were taken in rocky outcrops. Drove back to Ontario in the morning. About 5 P.M. party of W.S. Bailey, E.T. Bailey, J.F. Palmer and myself, left Ontario on U.S. Highway 99 and drove E via Guasti, Bloomington, Colton, Redlands, Beaumont, Banning, Cabazon and Whitewater. About 1/2 mi. beyond Whitewater, turned N and drove via the 29 Palms road as far as the Lone Star Ranch (Warren's Tanks?) when turned left on the road to the Windmill and camped.
