Palmer 1934. Peromyscus truei gilberti. Mar 14 600 ft., North side of Claremont Canyon, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. Took one ♀ & #17 in trap set under Bacharus on the west side of a gully. Very brushy with lots of poison oak + Bacharus. Took one male in trap set on bare ground under Artemisia further up the same guller. Oat bait. Mar 25 900 ft., ¼ mi E.N.E. of Botanical Garden Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. Took one ♂ in trap at under Artemesia on dry gravelly hillside with rather steep slope and south exposure. Other cover near mainly Bacharus but much less of this than Artemisia
