Caught one in 8 mouse traps.
The set on a rather steep hillside
just at the base of the foothills.
Hillside covered with rather straggly
growth of Artemisia and Salvia
apiana.
Aug 12 7 mi. NE Upland, 1350 ft. San Bernardino C. Calif.
Caught 3 in 45 traps. All were
taken on gravelly to rocky ground
in a dry wash. Plants here were
Salvia apiana, Artemisia, Prunus
ilicifolia, dry grass and Sycamore
Trees.
