Took one ? in oat baited trap set on top a large flat boulder. The surrounding area was mainly grassy with a southwestlyposure and gradual slope
Caught another ? by the tail in oat baited trap set near the mouth of a burrow with a diameter of about is 1 1/2". Took the mouse home and altho it lost practically all its tail, it lived for four days. It ate oats, ye and drank water from an eye dropper. However, lettuce was not eaten. At sometimes during the night would be very restless, especially near morning, But was quiet thru the day.
