Palmer/1934 Sorix palustris July 16 Cottonwood Creek, 7400 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nev. Caught one in 45 traps set along the stream lined with Quaking Aspens, Willows, Wild Rose, Artemisia, Wild Iris and grass. The stream is about 1-2 1/2 ft. in width with rocky bottom and drops fairly rapidly so there is a series of small waterfalls. Traps were set below the falls usually on a small ledge or in a few cases were set in a gap between two rocks, thru which the stream flowed.
