Caught one in 4 traps set in Microtus runways in tall grass in the edge of an irrigation ditch.
July 8 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nev.
Caught 3 in 74 traps set on sandy soil in Chrysothamnus, Atriplex, Sarcobates, and Chenopodium.
July 18 E. Walker R., 5050 ft., 2 mi. NW Morgans Ranch, Mineral Co., Nev.
Caught one in 20 traps set across an old alfalfa field that had grown up to Russian Thistle.
July 24 Enyitha Creek, 5800 ft., Lander Co., Nev.
Caught one in 70 traps. This one was taken in a boggy spot which was full of fairly tall grass and was surrounded by willows.
