Palmer/1934 Microdipodops pallidus July 8. 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nev. Caught 2 in 74 traps set on sandy soil in Atriplex, Sarcobatus, Chryso-Thamnus and Chenopodium July 9 8 mi. SE Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nev. Caught 7 in 36 traps. Practically all were taken on fine sand in Atriplex, Sarcobatus and Chenopodium July 30 1/2 mi. SE Wadsworth, #200 ft., Lyon Co., Nev. Caught 2 in 95 traps set across deep, fine sandy soil with some small dunes in Russian Thistle, Sarcobatus, Chenopodium and Atriplex. These specimens do not appear to be typical pallidus. This night it rained. July 31 Caught 7 in 45 traps set in the same place as July 30.
