July 12 Lapow Canyon, 8900 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nev. Caught one very small one in 75 traps in Artemisia across a sandy hill July 13 Caught one in 45 traps in same place as July 12. This one was w & apparently nursing young and still retained the winter pelage. July 27 Peterson Creek, 7000 ft., Shoshone Mts., Lander Co., Nev. Caught 3 in 70 traps set in the broad level canyon bottom in Artemisia 1 1/2-3 ft. tall. July 28 Peterson Creek, 6500 ft. Shoshone Mts. Lander Co., Nev. Caught 1 in 34 traps set up a steep rocky hillside in Artemisia and Piñones.
