Oct 1931 East slope of Irish Mtn., 6900 ft., Lincoln Co., Nev. 35 June 10, 1931 This A.M. the traps contained as follows: those on flat sandy earth near sage brush, 1 Per- myscus maniculatus, 1 Rethrodonmys ; those on rocky ledges, 1 Nutoma intermedia, 1 Peromyscus maniculatus ; those on open sage covered hillsides, 1 Perognathus parvus. Skt. a Eutamias dorsalis among Pinus Piyn and Juniper trees on the rocky south facing slope of a ridge. The jack rabbit mentioned in yesterday's notes was in the same form and reacted in the same manner as before. It appears as though it may be blind. Only one fresh gopher working was noted during a two mile walk. The Scott Oriole and Black-headed Grosbeak were both noted this A.M. near the spring.
