The fifty nine traps contained 7 Peromyscus maniculatus sonoriensis, 1 Peromyscus truei, and 1 Perognathus parvus. The P. maniculatus was found in all types of habitat where traps were set. P. truei was found up the rocky canyon near salt sage brush and Pinon Pine. Perognathus parvus was caught near camp on the edge of the tall Sage Brush.
At 10:30 A.M. saw a cottontail and three chipmunks (Eutamias dorsalis), The latter among the pinons on the ground.
