Orr 1931 1/2 mile South of Oak Spring, 5700 ft. Hye Co., Nevada May 27, 1931 tits and finnets. Shot a warbling oro and cared skeleton. It was sitting in a branch of a scrub oak, call- ing constantly in a warning manner. Coming down from the top I saw a rock squirrel running among some boulders. 10 A.M. Shot a cottontail (no. 125) in the sage brush. When captured it gave forth a shrill cry when I was killing it. In running the rabbit attempted to keep as much behind the clumps of brush and larger rocks as possible. May 28, 1931 # 129 Peragmus formosus - ? wt. 178 - 25-10 mm. # 130 Peragmus formosus - ?
