Ovr 1932 Cahuco Ranger Sta., 4000 ft., Crook Co., Oregon. June 22, 1932 A Wright Flycatcher's nest was found up in the mountain Mahogany area. The nest was in a crotch of a limb on the SW side about 4 feet above the ground. The outer portion was composed of fine plant fibers and some web-like material giving it a solid appearance. The inner portion was not white like the outside but rather composed of the stems of fine grasses, moss, mammal hair and a few small feathers. There were four white eggs in the nest. The dimensions are as follows: outer diameter, 67 mm.; inner diameter 50 mm.; outer depth, 51 mm.; inner depth, 43 mm. The bird that was flushed was seen in the vicinity while I remained there. About 75 yards away another one was heard calling. An Arctic Three-toed Woodpecker was seen on the same Yellow Pine where I shot a ? yesterday. This was a ?. A Hairy and a White-headed Woodpecker were also seen in Yellow Pine Belt. A Williamson and a Red-naped Sapsucker and a Red-shafted Flicker were also seen. Three Ruby-crowned Kinglets were heard singing in firs along canyon floor and slope. Saw or heard 10+ Henwos this a.m. Shot 2 ?'s but in each case I was unable to approach close enough to the ?.
