Left for Berkeley at 2:30 P.M. after a Run-
ing the gopher caught this a-m.
The Onychomys was taken by Hall up on the sand dunes. Saw several cottontails among these dunes this a.m. Probably audubni arizonae went via Arrowhead Trail (a fine highway) to Baker, California for dinner.) Stayed for night about 14 miles west of Barstow.

Arrived in S.F. at 11:30 P.M. after travelling all day from Mohave Desert north thru Mohave, Bakersfield, Fresno & up the San Joaquin Valley.
