Sept 24, 1931
We trapped. A number of wild horses are down in the flat.
On the way down we saw a Badger running away to the south of the road. Hall jumped out and running space with Dick gave him a charge of .410. Country is bare with small type of desert vegetation growing about.

The dunes, where we each placed 30 traps is on the north side of the dry lake. Going about 200 yards away from the dunes we placed out 25 snow traps apiece. Then, a mile farther towards Kawich (4 mi. away) we placed out 40 apiece.
