Both types seemed sharply divided off from each other here. Specimens were captured within 30 yards of each other.
Mileage is taken as north east of San Antonio. Out of 155 traps set the following animals were taken in the following localities: 1 Peromyscus m. orioriensis, 5 mi NE; 3 Dipodomys merriami, 5 3/4 mi. NE; 1 Dipodomys ordii, 5 1/2 mi. NE; 1 Dipodomys leucopus, 4 2/3 (mi). NE; 2 Perognathus nevadensis, scattered; 1 Ammospermophilus l. leucurus; 19 dark Microdipodops, 4 3/4 - 5 3/4 mi. NE; 8 light microdipodops 4 1/2 - 4 3/4 mi. NE of San Antonio.
