Orr 1931 San Antonio, 5400 ft., Nye Co., Nev. 52 Sept. 16, 1931 #308 Microdipodops - /59-85-24-9 Wt. 11/19. Set 30 traps last night, 13 mi. NE San Antonio, in fairly flat country covered with low brush 1 foot or so high. Ground is sandy with small amount of gravel on top. Lots of open space between bushes. Went south 1 1/2 miles and set out 124 traps in country quite similar to above. Ran across a snake track and followed it 1/2 mile without results. Getting late so we went back to set traps. This morning traps 11 1/2 mi. NE San Antonio contained 10 Microdipodops, 1 Amy- chomys l. brevicaudis, Traps 13 mi. NE San Antonio contained 3 Microdipodops and 2 Dipodomys sipes. All of the microdipodops were trapped on top of the small rises, none taken in the depressions. Sept. 16, 1931 Last night we went 6 miles north of San Antonio and set out 49 traps. Locality was on other side of a wash from which we have been trapping. Small lake dam- med up by which the road passes over to Manhattan, 6 miles away. We just drove south 1 1/2 miles to a
