Here N of Warrens Well, San Bernardino Co., I took 2 Dipodomys among low shrubs, with many junipers and tree yuccas present. Soil is rather coarse and composed of decomposed granite and mold from leaves of the rather dense vegetation, which was never more than 10 or 15 ft. between bushes.
