Picked 5 Oryctes yunnameni from the saddle. 4 of these were juveniles & I released them in Richmond (unmarked). No great quantity of fresh droppings on the floor but there were some. Nice look at a fallow deer buck as it walked down the road 80 ft in front of us. Dirty white. Spoon shaped antlers in back spike in front. Massive neck tho its body was smaller than an Odocoileus hemionus. (car legs are also) Saw a pair of deer of about 5 st heard what must have been their bugging More like chuckling this was about 18:30 PM. For just leaving from Weldy Hollow, the deer further inland.
