Wings Plied 1974 Janua 53 Red Barn, National Seashore Headquarters, Marin Co., Calif. 30 May put under the coast last time - wt= gnu looks like we got ~ 90-95% of the droppings actually in the fans. Prepared (skeleton + reps, tract) 15 & M. yumanensis all were either multiparous (apparently) or very pregnant. Looks like 16-17 mm & CL is barely prepartum. The wing membrane has darkened & we bat was in the process of giving birth to an embryo this length. No fat, but the bat had been held 2 days in a cold room before I got to them. Auburne Marin Co., Calif. 14 June 9 AM cool. Has been foggy. Visited Horace Jones' again. Still some Plecothes despite our degradation of 2 weeks ago. Caught about 43 of the bats present. All & adult F's with 0-67 young, young range in size from recently born (pregnant bat) to barely flying. Tattooed & released the bats at Peersie's (Orinda). Unfortunately several of the juveniles were left behind Red Barn, National Seashore Headquarters, Marin Co., Calif. 9:30 AM temp at roof 17° C. (Antilocpes, Tadarida, & 2-300 adult Mystis yumanensis)
