May 1 Red Barn, National Seagrove Ridgtry 1 mi W Dlena, Marin Co., Calif. May 1st had no trouble in securing a sample of soars to bat, but the roof was full of flying bats by the time we finished. Very little fat or well. Many not pregnant & many w/ u. uteri only slightly swollen. Also we found an E ptosisi passer as in the roof of the nearby fish house. Middle Hollow, National Seagrove, Marin Co., Calif 5-20 miles: arrives 11 AM. Tony in 70's, a few Myotis yumanensis in roof, but so alert that we were able to catch 6. 3 strong reprodots - 2 w/ 9-10mm embryos, 1 apparently not pregnant & 3 with small swelling, much like the April sample. no more fat than at Red Barn. Hamilton Air Force Base, Marin Co., Calif 7 May met Ed Donati - (yelling?) - 8 AM. contact was Major Parker, Civil Engineer. Donati is pest control. Drove around the base especially in Crescent road. roofs of tile, each tile [illegible] & pottery-like materials on the sides that overhang the walls of the building, & the bats get into the overhang. Most buildings with this type roof had stained areas & feces indicating bats. Donati had tried
