Wings Plex 1974 Journal 45 James Bay, Isla James, Galapagos, Ecuador 9-11 Feb "Ed Landau". He supplied the goat meat (though, much a pleasant flavor) & we supplied the rest. Few sea lions, supposedly few seals too (surrounded like all Zaloplus). Spent the 11th working on board (at a bay or 30 minute cruise distant?), left that very, arrived Academy Bay on the 12th. Morning. Academy Bay, Isla Santa Cruz, Galapagos, Ecuador 12-15 Feb arrived 10 AM. Rain all day, included one good shower in which 1/2" fell in 30 minutes. Set out 46 Steer Tomahawks in brush about the station. Caught 11 Set, all Black. Nancy & others went up to Bella Vista, returned early & a half late, with a couple of Enlidos, Camarones peruch, & (Catorpiza(?)), Not too good. Rain continuing in showers alternated with sunny, windy, humid weather. Said July's typical raining season weather. Station people glad to see it. Probably makes the end of better than 4 years of unparative dryness.
