by us net. A magnificus, A. fortis, A. fuliginos,
esthrida olivacea, Platyspiza crassirostris.
Numerous Tropiderns, open sea lions. Several
Sea lion skulls smashed esp across the
roostin'. Nesting pelicans w/ eggs. No gulls sign,
tho they are supposed to bear the island.
a little rain at 4:15M, overcast at 6.
Rainy hard offshore but it never reaches.
Very humid, uncomfortable.
Isla Tower, Galapagos, Ecuador
3 Feb Darwin bay. No native birds known from
-4 Feb here (except a single possible mislabeled Tropiderns).
Completed 6 ft sharks (4 stillman) right along
the shore.
Birds very disappointing. Not nearly as
many as 2 years ago, & they are not
breeding generally (a few gulls had eggs, &
there were few tree from bootleg chicks.
But few & they looked starving. Green heron,
night herons in dosand). Lava gulls swimming
in a tide pond, 2013 boobies sp, frigate bird,
tropic bird, asdp. Gulls, petrels, shearwaters, etc.
