The tide was in & there was a foot or mixed water covering the roots of the mangroves. Saw [illegible] few finches - including a single mangrove finch - but there was nowhere to set nets. Mocked yellow warblers common also. Many Tropidons, more than at Tagus (also 2-3 miles away & Tourist, frequent fagas & mothers). Iguanas are bigger here also & many were adult. However the are similar, skittish & very difficult to catch. But we got 10. Lots of cat droppings, one cat skeleton. 300-40 sea lions on the beach. Penguins, comedants. Numeous boobies, as at Tagus. 31 Jan. left around 10 PM. arrived Isla Woman, Galapagos, Ecuador arrived around noon. Went ashore on a side to look for geckos.
