Bayer Phil 1973 Journal 27 Jul 275km NW Villa Hayes bsd, Dept Pte Hayes, Paraguay. Log was pail, rotten & some bats were eye in crack. Lollar spot. Notable also farlot of Marked bat recaptured neo - 13 in all! Molorsis all very got - includ those caught near cattle pen. Old bats some not und fed. PM: Prinda then were palm roofs, less than few new bats. Not way. Most of the roofs too old leaf cludes & rotten. Saw a green slender snake in or mer the chicken pen. Collected a serie of M. albescon neater a shed u. along - 50 yds from main root. 5 PM, 18.5 C outside temp, 17.5 C under logs. all bats torped. Our recaptures in the M. alberos sp. All clear. Definitely bats flying in every a couple of Myotis flew into kitchen. Of course they could be bats released earlier today. 8 PM temp 13-14 C. Walked awhile at 8 PM-10PM. Saw 2 Tawsholow frogs & 3 frogs. 28 Jul 6 AM temp 45 C. Clear, still. Pet & I walked NE across dam, to old Chacara on other side of river. lots of birds. 50-60 Muscovy ducks. Many aterides of many sp. Seen also to be many vermillion chinned flycatches, even more than usual. They are everywhere. Several made feeding blocks, composed of ineffective fergious seed eaters etc - whatever handy. Lot's of game tracks as usual, includ agouti again.
