To reach it one goes San Bernardino & Hitos, then the cutoff to Aguay. At Loma Grande turn rt, & 8 kms late, the rd ends at La Susana. Old estancia, now used for raising horses for the military. Between 1948-1965 not well cared for, & much quo back to bush. But in the last 2 years has been intensively cropped. 1600 Ha, 1000 hd of cattle which Zavala consults about vaccum. Horses, sheep, goat, a few boar. Jag fruit & sugar cane plantation - banana, pineapple, citrus, papaya guava, etc. Mandioca. The forest is mostly broken into islands surrounded by grassland. Some marshy wetdry. Low rocky ridge, dry sandy rock.
