Forgot to mention that last night there were literally dozen of caprimulgids of at least 2 spp. - above I - one of the scissor tailed jobs (probably a ladder tailed nightjar) & dozens of a kind that roost in large nos on fence post - we saw perhaps 30-40 yesterday afternoon, one per fencepost stretched over a couple of hundred meters of swampl Possibly the white-winged nightjar. PM - N wind Put up 6 bat nets over the ponds along entrance roads. B/c by 6PM the weather was clearly changing. Overcast strong S wind. At 8 we pulled the nets & headed for fsymaids. Made it to km224 (Peraya'), where we were told that it was raining in fsomains & the road had been closed to Tacuara. So we beat it back to Charrua. Killed a gray crochet along the entrance road. Landing & skinny. Did not see fewer Mosquitos freixo. 13June overcast entire pd until morning of 15th -15th when we left. Spent the time taking short walks (few hrs) & one long baseball
