Myers Phil 1973 Journal 123 Resoleta, Asuncion, Paraguay 19 May mokeria land praying noise. I've seen this only once before, yet there were many calling. I saw 5 right around the pool this evening. The iglid was also at the edge of the pool. Not seen to be calling. It's always, lots of Animmates [illegible] in the sand under the oranges. We men into these dells when we dig into rubble piles. Sometimes a foot or more deep. 20 May cool, windy, cloudy. 11 deg over pool. 21 May clear, cold. Night temp low 60's. Windy, no fog. Salto de Pirareta, 10 km S Pirabeby, Dept Cordillera, Paraguay distance is approximate & extended to 25 May be ableing not by road. To reach this place one take the #2 to Perebeby cutoff, then goes thru Perebeluy E towards Paraguari. Approximately 10 km from Perebeluy is a dirt road lined by tall Eucalyptus, & a sign for "Salto de Pirareta" (or whatever). The distance at the dirt road is 11 km. That also no many right angle turns. Amazingly well marked & also an amazingly broadroad for a fairly well publicized tourist attraction. The falls themselves are really waterfalls & the net drop is less than 30'. River is about 35-45 ft across a couple of feet deep. Sand-rock bottom. Upstream from this
