Resoleta, Asuncion, Paraguay
19 May mokeria land praying noise. I've seen this only once before, yet there were many calling.
I saw 5 right around the pool this evening.
The iglid was also at the edge of the pool. Not
seen to be calling. It's always, lots of Animmates
[illegible] in the sand under the oranges.
We men into these dells when we dig into
rubble piles. Sometimes a foot or more deep.
20 May cool, windy, cloudy. 11 deg over pool.
21 May clear, cold. Night temp low 60's. Windy, no fog.
Salto de Pirareta, 10 km S Pirabeby, Dept Cordillera,
Paraguay distance is approximate & extended to
25 May be ableing not by road. To reach this place
one take the #2 to Perebeby cutoff, then
goes thru Perebeluy E towards Paraguari.
Approximately 10 km from Perebeluy is a
dirt road lined by tall Eucalyptus, & a
sign for "Salto de Pirareta" (or whatever).
The
distance at the dirt road is 11 km. That also
no many right angle turns. Amazingly
well marked & also an amazingly broadroad
for a fairly well publicized tourist attraction.
The falls themselves are really waterfalls & the
net drop is less than 30'. River is about
35-45 ft across a couple of feet deep.
