Mugs plus 1973 Journal ~ 115 4/60 km NW Villa Hayes by rd, Dept. Boquerón, Paraguay 9 April Dorochó, etc. Trip behind very lush. Left 1 PM, spent a couple of hours in Philadelphia Rd recently opened, spent night around km 400 in very low grass. Peacleta Fundación, Paraguay 15 April first cold spell. rain, perfect temp in 70's. 9 net (30') over pool. Caught 2 Molossus, 1 tasim. wind, the warm fly in early part of evening. 17 April first good winter rain. temp in 60's. Pecked up a tad in back yard that made no. The flylies down by the pool are calling. The the other stuff is not. 19 April 1 net, 60', over pool. partly--mostly cloudy but decring. S.W. wind. 9 PM temp 18.5°C. caught 2 L. ega & 2 Molossus but one of each escaped when the bag came untied w/left open all night. 20 April same not. clear, S.W. wind 8 PM an temp 21.5°C. cought 4 Molossus, 1 L. borealis, & 3 L. ega. Net left open all night. 4 km ESE Asunción, Paraguay 22 April Quinto Rivola (Williams). warm, partly clearly, still. ~ bats. 4 Desmodus (killed), 1 L. borealis, 1 Epsteiner, 2 Molassus, 1 large Molassus, 5 Vampyrops, 16 Antibes, & Sternio.
