This was a gun I shot me, which turned out to be a youngster. Delicious. There are 2 other kinds, "curá'i" & "Tachy cáti". The curá'i is smaller & once skinned can be distinguished from the Taguá by looking at the flesh side of the skin. The hair bases are obvious on a Taguera skin, & less so on a curá'i. The third kind, Tachy cáti, is the only 1 without enlarged ganimes. Also shot 4 choratos & saw many more. Saw 2 foxes, both of the common type, one "teti" pague. No bass in the lagoon, although it did have the palm log type of roof. I think the logs were probably too rotten. Did see a snake under my P.M.- set 4 nets over the pond along its entrance road. 3 were over ponds nearer in mouth, & 1 over a pond at the edge/palm swamp. The latter caught several L. ega, the former L. ega, E. platina, Noctiluca sp., #1 Chthamalus with Tadarida, & Myotis. Saw only 1 fox. Got to car stuck in mud which prevented returning at 3:30 AM to report. net. The cowboys apparently believe that
