Myers Phil 1973 Journal 92 Recoleta, Asunción Paraguay 7 Feb warm, clear, sl. breeze. Met one prof. Met moved somewhat from camp night. Net wet until 10 PM - slow 2 Lacini, I Motami left open ran from 4 AM on to from 10 to 4 caught 1 Z. ege off From 4-6 AM cought Molassus & L. borealis. 9 Feb day windy, partly clouds Temp cool (~90). wind changing to S. evening wundle. Met repave prof same as 7 Feb. Caught 2 molossials. closed net 10 PM, opened 4 AM. caught 1 Eplesius, 2 L. ege. 2 large moloass closed 6:15 AM. 5 AM temp 26°C. 10 Feb broughtypes the phyllotis we caught at Bven Amigo last trip. I originally rejected him as oldking on 5 Feb but things started going wrong & I decided to him. Rejected & run today 15 Feb 3 km S Acaray dam (yard, Dept. Alto Parana, Paraguay drove out to spend night & do some shopping in Frz de Iguaçu (Brazil). Rainforest, almost 50-60ft high, very diverse, extremely dense even if is the forest. Also very wet. We had continuous green rain showers, clouds, heat & high humidity. camped by the road near large (4-5 ha) cleared hut abandoned field. Partly swamp. Several types bunchgrass, lots of herbs & other grasses, rushes, etc, near forest border. No sign of cattle or human disturbance do they are at least 2 farms if in a km.
