Neyey Plub 1973 Journal 83 5Jan Miy's Tolal' leg'd., Dept. Cordeller, Paraguay. All those I caught were juveniles, & I saw one fly off with a 3/4 sized young clinging to it. Also saw one particularly large lost which I scared from it; peered several times but each time it returned to scene's place. I shot a pair of carollia which were dangling together, near the cave entrance (20 feet in). Rocleta, Lorencin, Paraguay 6Jan Handcaptured an E. plesieus roosting in a shallow wash about 18" off of the ground. wing appeared injured by tattooing (#130) it could fly only very weakly. 10Jan Net set at Roost M. Patel. Clear, warm, humid, no wind. At least one small young was left in the roost. I caught a glump of them - 1 1/2" long (+), barely furred. 11Jan Net set over pool. Night warm (80°), Humid to drips, clear weather, frequent soap change matana. By 12:30 I had 10 bats left net up. at 6:30 top was 8 more. 1 is a molossid I don't recognize, so I kept it. 2 of the molossos sp. had broken wings, so I kept them 12Jan no net set, but the net from last night were left & swung across the pool collapsed. Nevertheless a molossid managed to fly into me. hot (92) humid, widdle & clear.
