Journal 8) 230 km NE Villa Hayes, Dept. Pto Haya, Paraguay 14 Dec bat. I would hear them under the roof but as long as the net was up most preferred to remain in the roof. I kept 3 adult F's & released a few immature F's. The only recaps were two bats I tattooed & released in late afternoon a few hours before netting. 10PM air temp 24.5 C. No pet m bats. Not much blooming this trip in the woods some ceetux also some ornamental shrubs gardening etc) near the house. But we weren't able to spend much time wandering. Recoleta As 31 Dec Recoleta, Encelia, Paraguay 4 mets up, including 2 of the one at the top of 2 poles set end to end (near the Eumops roost in the palm tree) & one over the swimming pool (which has now been full about 2 weeks). The other 2 were in the gard near & under mangoes. I caught Eumops in the high net (2) & in the net over the pool 3 Eplececy, 3 Molossus (?), vampyrops, & 2 Jacquin Brasilis. The latter seemed juvenile with soft fur. One had a broken fringe, so I put it up. Weather cloudy w/ light rain, &
