Myers, 8 Dec 1972 Journal 80 230 km by ad NW Villa Hayes, Dept Pk. Villa Hayes, Paraguay. We came inside to start working on what we'd caught, & w/in 10 minutes another 15 bats flew into the net. They seem remarkably sensitive to our presence. We told we could catch 32 bats. I kept 15, & marked the others. Among these there were 4 recaptures, no more. 9:00 air temp 23° C, slight NW breeze from south, fluffy clouds, beautiful night. 14 Dec. Of 229 bats, 8 only are mature, & 50/1 trees I released. Sky warm clear & humid. Decided to scent the pack rather than catch Noctilio same nets as before. Very few
