Freer rain starts about 9 continuing all next day. 13 No. 148 mm total fall. Street arrive, over empty swimming pool filled with $[illegible] & [illegible], et. This really brought the frog out. Bufo marinus are literally everywhere. In wet places they are deafening in the evening. I collected 3 other kind around the swimming pool - #2, hyliid type (#s 557-559), & 1, strang, smaller, small- mewtelling that Mesa Coell that sounds like an electric alarm clock going off 14 Nov (1#560-561) (killed preserved on 14 Nov) Also a small lizard which fell somehow into a wastebasket. 5km Asuncion, Asuncion, Paraguay Quinta Las Mellizas. Overcast, drizzling at times. Warm. Lots of tree in flower - at least Zimmern sp., all unknown. One in fruit - small, sour (1" dia), green, sweet fruit. 5 N et. sp. 6 Astley's (all in not near the fruit tree), 3 large molossids, 2 tiny molossids, 2 Vampiregryps,
