Wiggy Blue 1972 Journal 71 29Oct 230 b/n Villa Hayes to dept Pte Haya, Paraguay are cari in n/t next to house & eating the dryin meat in the perch. I found a tree in which several sthis make their nest - a mass of sticks & twigs 6' in deep w. several well-formed entrance. I had the impression (out of the corner of my eye) that more than two left a nest - are they colobus? 30Oct Drove to Parahyu b/224, a Shell station. They had a no. of peacary skins an allegator skin, a couple of tame animalas maguare storks (plumages (Tuijuis) mostly black), & a small 30" long (Gorevis) bailey tapir faun color & spotted. Came & curiously poking at this with its mawer, looked wise. The Miero for sunrice' shoved up at 2:30 & I left Unpleasant trip - problems w. sheep & pigs on the roof, drunks arrived Villa Haya, too late for ferry & spent night settin' in Inn, & fog in AM preventi ferry from operati. Posseto, Asuncion, Paraguay 3Nov night very in 70s, partly cloudy, sl. wind. 3 met around manso & mango, inc. 60p wet. carlit 4 Vampyros & 2 Epletes. cell but one
