Myers Plumb 1972 Journal 64 230 hsn NW Villa Hayes by ad Drpt Dte Hayes Paraguay 240ct Temp in shade outside is 41.5°c (108°F). Hole is chased, I believe that at & efforts have been made in the past to burn that out. Found several otter quaalaha with suspicious hole one had a pile of fat droppings on the ground below. Set nets over river in a place seen the Indian toldo where the river is about 100m across. I put a 60' net post out from a point, & a 30' net intersecting a bay. In most places the water was more than they'd deep so setting was not possible & I was not too happy about the placement of the nets. Bats started flying at 7:30, air Temp. 93°F. Sun set at 7:00 P. Caught a molossis right away, then late 2 Noctilio labiellii & one of the gray Myotis. Nothing more. Lot of birds - ine large water fowl, & a flock of 23 roseate spoonbills. Numerous flocks of ducks flew by at dusk - 20 or 30 ducks in all mostly in 20's & 30's. At 9:30 I saw a crab eating corn along the shore. There are lot of frogs & it seemed to be stalking them. Despite my light & my proximity (50') it happily went about its business. Lot of small crocodile in water also. Gave up in disgust at 10 PM air temp 86°F. Almost no wind at first, fly 10
