Betty - horses & cattle show no signs of rampires. 6 or 7 years ago rabies was epidemic, but brought under control (they say) by stopping up holes of hollow trees. There are 2 know roasts nearby which are allowed to go for a few months, then the leaves don't a parasite. Apparently it's has come back. Unfortunately the description of the bat killed - "murcielago colorado" - gets Noctilio little, than Dremole & very description of its gray & white Vesperly drew blank stare flock of very white roseal spoonbill many were as we came up, about 1/2 way from Villa Hayes. 6PM- setup net, both by hole in quebracho trees which are worn smooth & have long black stains running down from the opening. Holes are 25"in dia, one is in trunk 1'dia, one in branch 8"dia.
