Caucopá, Paraguay 24 July net between citrus trees near house a glassphazing cayar over the wood & miscellaneous phyllastmatid animal. net over the weeds are best. Net & 25 July taken down in Apr. 1 wo left in class warm weather (for birds see next locality). 28 km S of jun sta 3 to sta 5, Depto Caucopá, Paraguay mentioned sandy area paralleled claro. we camped on the border of a grassy, brushy field (cleared) but fallow? - probably man. but perhaps natural) & a forest. Field is densely covered w. a diverse assemblage of knee- high grasses & shrubs. wood is tall, w dense growth of a genorot Vitis w. leaves like bamboo as undergrowth. Nearly impenetrable. Numerous trails look like perhaps armadillos. There are numerous armadillo holes around. 30 traps set in field 20 in woods. 26 July 2 strange camanipels that look almost like gophers in general form - weak eyes, tubular body, short tail, short but powerful legs, small can etc. but pelage very spiny. also no underscript brown rot with large
