All common names are from de Schauensee, 1970-Birds of S Am 7 July Ave General Arenas 16 km NE gen Ave San Martin Asuncion, Paraguay nets finally arrived. Very cold weather - frost under this morning (in car). Not too hopeful for bet, but we set up 5 nets at Isla de Froucca. Two were placed over grazed area which has clump of tall grass, a few grapefruit trees & is near to banana, papaya & palm-oil palms. Net placed fairly high so bottom line 4' off of ground. #2 was set among some bananas in heavy cover - dead tree nearby, grapefruit trees, etc. No ripe bananas. Other three were set over cut grass between chicken post & fence, both in same pole w. no net above othrs. It about 8 we caught two small phyllostomatus, 209 & 210, which were
