Traps were set in the vicinity of a truck garden owned by Sr. Mastes, & a checha farm & grapefruit grove managed by Sr. Manuel Gonzales (property of Ricardo Gregor?). Both areas are heavily disturbed & support numerous cat & dogs (for whose benefit we were asked to refrain from snaptrapping). During this period we had 2 rainy day, & at other times partly cloudy or sunny weather, with temperatures 75-85°F. The truck farm is slightly lower land with an acre or so of swamp. All traps were placed at the edge of the swamp or in areas of 2'0 gravel. I recognize none of the non- cultivated plants - but compositae & solanaceae are common. Bananas seem to be f wild.
