Myers Phil 1972 Journal 15 May Panama City, Panama arrived 7:30 PM local time. Immediately discovered that lot of nets et had not arrived from San Jose. Went to Hotel Caribe in Panama City, # called Bussing in San Jose. "Unaccompanied luggage" requires an export permit from # # # Costa Rica, which he did could not get on the short notice given him. Choice were we go there & pick it up, or him-mail it to Asuncion. Chose the latter - air mail. To Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, measures for $400.00. Nets to be divided among 2 packages. 20 May corner of [illegible] & Kubitschek street, Asuncion, Paraguay One of Maggie's friends showed me a colony of Moleus (?) under one tin sheet, on the roof of a Mormon church. They were easy to catch, so I grabbed 26. Saw around 50, could have been many more down in cracks or under other parts of the roof. All seemed to be the same thing. Dissected & put up 87's & 3-0's. All were non-breeding & showed no signs of recent breeding. The first 3 I captured were #. The next 23, taken from progressively further down on roof, were mostly #. Looks suspicious,
