Murray 1948 Perognathus arenarius June 7 Punta Gasparina 23° 16' N, 110° 09' W, 10-4°, Baja Calif. Camped in a sandy wash near the sea. On one side is a low hillside of soft sand and fairly thin brush, mostly lemboi and ocotillo. Set out 100 live traps, half in the wash along thick patches of romarillo and other plants, and half on the hillside. Traps in the wash caught 2♂, those in the hill 3♂. (See journal)
