Bruce and I went to the Honda auto dealer to check about fixing my car; they couldn't get to it for a few more days so we took it to Larrys Convenience Center where they could fix it within a day or two. Labor charges for mechanic work on cars is cheap in Barstow relative to the Bay Area; Larry's charges were $30.00 /hour plus parts. Then we did our laundry and shopped for food. We drove back to the Granites at about 1400 PST.
