Species Account
Blind Snake
(Leptotyphlops humilis)
1 May Amargosa River near Tecopa,
Inyo co., CA.
Kellar Autumn, along with Bob Macey,
Bruce Wagg, and I collected two blind
snakes under some small rocks in soft,
moist soil where there were termite and ant
nests. This was in a grove of trees (probably
cottonwoods) near the bank of the Amargosa
River. Specimens catalogued by Robert (Bob)
Macey and Kellar Autumn.
