R. MOON 1987 Journal 96 26 May Sheep Hole Mountains on the east side of Amboy Road, San Bernardino co., CA. on the east side of the road. Bob found a juvenile chuckwalla under a small rock just above the wash bottom. Just after sunset, when it started getting dark, we came back down the canyon and drove a couple of passes between the road summit and the valley south of the mountains. We found two sidewinders on the pavement near the summit over the Sheep Hole Mountains. Then back home via (Granite Mtns) Amboy and Kelbaker Road.
