R. Moon 1987 Journal 68 15 May Kelbaker Road and Vulcan Mine Road, Providence mountains, San Bernardino co., CA. Road from 1930 to 2130 PST looking for snakes. On Vulcan Mine Road we found an adult Long-Nosed Snake stt lying on the pavement (species account: Long-Nosed Snake). I also saw a Banded Gecko on the pavement where the lowest mountain ridge extends out to the road (species account: Banded Gecko). Found no other animals on road between Kelso and Vulcan Mine Road except Kangaroo Rats and Black Tailed Jackrabbits so we went home.
