2. MOON 1987 Journal 54 5 May Two canyons west of Blind Spring, Providence Mountains, San Bernardino co., CA. twelve pitfall traps and two shovels. We put in three traps below the spring in the rocky, shrubby canyon but it started to get late so we left the other traps to put in on another trip. It was sunny and hot on our hike up but had gotten shady in the canyon in the late afternoon. We did the digging in the shade and cooler temps but we had to leave at about 1730 PST in order to make it back over Foshay Pass and to our car before it got too dark.
