R. Moon 1987 Journal 47 2 May Providence Mountains and Mid Hills, San Bernardino co., CA. over the mid hills and down the west side through the fairly dense Joshua tree wood- land there. we got to Kelso-Cima Road at about 1530 PST and we were all very tired so we headed back to the Granites to relax for the rest of the afternoon while the UCSC mammology students were out hiking in the mountains above Donners Camp. At night Bob, Kellar, & Bruce drove to Imboy and Twentynine Palms to look for snakes while I stayed at Donners camp with the recreating students from UCSC. Bob, Kellar, & Bruce returned later but had found any snakes tonight.
